I am a bit confused as whether an Xbox One Kinect Sensor will work with a pc. All the info I can get on it says it won't yet Reallusion videos show it being used with a laptop.....Is the Sensor a different version to the Xbox one?...

You can use a Kinect For Xbox 360 or Kinect For Windows with iClone5 and the Mocap Device Plugin.

The Kinect For Xbox One (Kinect 2) will not currently work with iClone5 but a Windows version will be available soon. Once this and the SDK becomes available we will be able to do testing and evaluate for use in iClone6.

I hope this helps. :)

A 360 kinect device will do the trick for you.

You'll need to get a 'power and usb to pc' combined power adapter. Plenty of sellers on ebay have them for about $20.00.

Then, using the RA mocap software, you are good to go!

As of this moment in time, you cannot connect a Xbox One Kinect to the PC because there is no adapter for it that will fit a USB.

So, you must use a 360 Kinect. On the bright side, they have gone down in price since the launch of Xbox One.

I bought one recently complete with PC adaptor for $25.00 secondhand. So it might pay to check our ebay too.

I saw one on Craigslist a few weeks back for $10! I immediately called and the guy sold it. I asked him why he sold it so low and he told me "That's the amount of money GameStop would have given me for it."

DOH!!!
