Though MMD ( Miku Miku Dance ) is more customised for dancing, it has few great features that ICLONE can adopt. I am impressed with the Anime Hair Styling and general rendering styles. Also the use of chained Bones ( Hair) and adoption of Bullet Physics engine.

Here are few links.

Can ICLONE adopt the "Anime Hair and Rendering styles" as a part of its Toon Shading possibility, particularly the 3D Anime Hair with bones for hair animation ?

The MMD hair is nice, but has a tendency to go through the avatar from what I have seen.

I thought I read somewhere that iClone physics is based on Bullet.

I've not tested the collision yet but I know for a fact that iClone supports custom spring chains already.

Not only that, but it also has toon rendering. You can get it to look like the MMD renderer if you mess with the toon settings a bit.

Soooo actually all that stuff's already there. You'll need 3DX Pro though.

Oh and also you can get a bunch of MMD style characters off the net and from games that let you export the characters.

This should point you in the right direction.

I like the way the "3D HAIR VOLUME" is defined with minimum lines in MMD and the shader for hair and dresses is quite interesting.

Oh ok.

I'm afraid I don't really get what you mean though. It seems to me you can get the look you want in iClone with those characters just fine.
