Windows Bootcamp Performance Issue or Program Issue?

I am having a frustrating time working with Crazy Talk Animator. Everything is perfect besides ONE issue:

When trying to zoom in and out of my project (camera zoom or just navigating around the canvas), the program will randomly freeze temporarily. Sometimes it will come back, other times it will not. When it does come back it jumps to the spot I zoomed/unzoomed to.

I suspect this issue is because I have to many props on the screen. I have ~20 props for a pan zoom through a jungle towards the main scene. When I only have just the actor nothing else on the screen I can zoom/unzoom fine no crashes.

My computer specs are well above the recommended specs to run the program. This leads me to believe it is either a bootcamp issue or a program specific issue.

I can post a video of the issue, but it would have to be done through VMware, which I understand is not optimal for using CTA.

Thanks ahead of time.

I'm not a Mac user, but I found a thread related to your question: https://forum.reallusion.com/Topic69282-253-1.aspx. It seems that CTA will run fine with Bootcamp and Windows 7, provided the specs of the graphics card are sufficient.

Hopefully, Peter (RL), the forum moderator, can shed some light on this.

Please can you contact Support and let them see your Windows dxdiag.txt. They will be able to check it for any obvious causes. Quite often with Bootcamp the graphics drivers can be an issue, but it may just be the size of the project that is stretching the graphics too much.
