Peter,

Sorry, but I've been an iClone user since version 2 and I'm loosing faith in Reallusion trying to make it harder to use your software.

I do the update and now Benji, Trey, Trinity, etc. all point to a d/l because they are now "Bonus". What if I don't want the Bonus clothing? So unless I d/l that once again, am I able to use them? No! What a bunch of crap!

Seems to me Reallusion is "forcing" me to jump through hoops for characters that I thought I owned already, but now appear to be "Bonus" characters?

The concept of "now you have them, now you don't" is not working for me. The frustration I get for things I have bought or upgrade to before should not be touched. Its almost as if you like to irritate your users by forcing them to download something downloaded previously, but now with the upgrade, you have to do it again.

This is "forcing" me to abandone iClone and all their software, which is alot, but I find DAZ is less painful to use than iClone has become. The mocap is crap. Physics sucks as things drop thru the floor or continue to "vibrate" for no reason. Yes, I made the floor using your physics floor, but unless this has been fixed, any physics you use is not professional quality.

I have a scene with wind blowing and a character standing there and the freaking robe splits into two separate pieces as if there is something splitting the fabric in two. Please spruce up the software to work as "advertised", because, frankly, it does not hold.

The amount of money invested is a sad state of affairs, but one I feel I can finally let go of. Don't waste you money buying the facial when it was promised as "free". I mean a $25 upgrade is more appropriate than $129. Geez!

:crying:

Thank you for your opinion.
For me is a great and helpful tool to express my work, and a tool for comercial work too, that help me a lot ...
Easy to import any character or prop, easy to animate with mocap ,easy to clean up animation, , easy to lypsinc now any character, easy to try and cut cameras and fast render.

Maybe this tool is not good enough for you.
Maybe you have such talent, that is easy to think this tool is a @#$%#$@
Maybe you are not from this planet????????
so,
Sorry sir

Hi..

I'm very sorry to hear you are feeling disappointed in the latest iClone 5.4 upgrade.

However to be fair I think some of your disappointment is caused by a little misunderstanding on a couple of matters.

Firstly you can download the bonus pack "Bonus_G5 Outfit Developer Collection" easily from your Member Account under Patch/Bonus for iClone5. This will install the G3 Characters you are missing. A bit of a pain yes, but it should only take a minute or so to do.

On your point about the new Facial Animation features costing $129. This is not correct and the 5.4 upgrade is completely free for existing users of 3DXchange5.

The $129 Facial Pipeline Character Pack is new content pack that contains a lot of useful content for developers but it certainly isn't required to use the new facial animation features.

I hope this clears up any confusion on these two points.

Really ? because I use a LOT of software and Daz would be the last resort for creating a scene with building, water, trees, flowers, cameras and Animating any of that. On top of that Iclones system for assests is at times annoying but next to Daz is a dream to use.

The whole point of me using Iclone is how dam easy it is to use.
I would say I can not think of another program in its price range that comes near to doing what Iclone does, but I have looked and can say there is NO other program out there that does what Iclone does for the price.. you would have to jump $1000 to even start.

Even if you were able to get your head around Daz for animation you would have to deal with the high rez meshs, the high and multiple textures so your computer specs would have to be very very high and forget any realtime rendering..

In short im staying put,,,
