Movement - stop - motion

How could you stop after a motion and then after move on?
Explanation with Example:
1) - from Image 0 to 60th Image: movement from point A to B
2) - from 61st Image to 120th Image: stopping at point B
3 - from 121st Image to 180th Image: keep moving from point B to C

Put a transform key at frame 61 and 120.

Since both keys at 61 & 120 are in the same position there will be no movement between those keys.

Brilliant Jeff - many thanks for solving a problem I've had for ages.

I got the transform points in the time line OK but couldn't see how to stop the little drift when the character was standing still - particularly annoying if I wanted them to sit on a stool for a while. Checked out your video and problem solved :)
