I'm still getting the "Failed to intialize Content Install Module of iClone" Error Message, with iC5.2 64Bit, with IE 9. See Screenshot 1.

Whereas I could Install the Content in iC4 & Copy to iC5, before. I can't now. I get "Failed to load the configuration of." Error Message. See Screenshot 2.

I thought the above had been fixed. Apparently not:ermm:

Could it have anything to do with the 64 bit version - in that I read that there are some things that don't work properly as it is a beta?

IMO - No, Alley.

Just tried with iC5.2 32Bit. The same Error Messages.

I could try with iC51.3, but that would involve Uninstalling iC5.2 first & I've alrady done that several times, attempting to resolve other problems with iC5.2, to no avail.:ermm:

As I recall, I had the same problem with that Version but could Install in iC4 & Copy to iC5 at the time.

There are other Posts (including my original Post, somewhere) with the same problem , with different Browsers.

I thought this was fixed at the time. If it was, the problem has re-appeared:ermm:

ADDED - There was a Fix for; "Unable to Download Content from Market Place under certain conditions" in iC5.02. However, I don't know if that Fix is the relevant one.

I've tried IE9 in Compatabilty Mode - No difference.

Thanks for your Post:)

Very prompt initial Fix, replacing some Files in Reallusion Common Files / Downloader Folder, from Jana:)

Now we know Where Jana's Character name came from;)

I wonder if she's like her Character. If she is;;)

Fix doesn't work:ermm:. So I'll send Screenshot(s) of the Downloader Containing Folder's contents after the Fix.

Having rexchanged correspondence with RL Tech support with 2 unsuccessful fixes, the problem has now been passed to Product Development.

My own investigation suggests this:

There's a Content Downloader EXE File that's Installed with iC Program.

The Downloader can't be "Intialized" (Run) from within the Program. It can only be Intialized via the Market Place Inventory Download Button. Therefore, I suggest it's either a Web Browser Problem (I have IE9) &/or a malfunction with the Market Place Inventory Download Process being unable Initialize the Program's Downloader EXE File, to call home.

Product Development's "Fix", returns the same Error Messages:ermm:

Product Development's latest Fix doesn't work, either:ermm:

Product Development's latest Fix doesn't work:ermm:

I've Fixed it myself, by doing the following:

1) Re-installing iC4.31

2) Clicking on iC4 Backstage Icon

3) Selecting the items in my Inventory.

4) Clicking on Download Button.

All items Instaled in iC4

5) Selected each individual item in iC4 Content Manager / Right-Click / Find File.

6) Copied each individual item in iC4 Content Templates / Pasted into iC5 Content Templates.

It looks like that's what I'll have to do each time I Download from MarketPlace. Not good enough, Reallusion:ermm:

In view of the above & previous Posts from other Users, IMO the new  iC5 Market Place Content Downloader is still dysfunctional:ermm: Why?

Hi Colour,

I'm pleased to hear you have found a workaround for the issues you have. To be fair though this isn't the widespread issue you may think, and most cases support receive are fixed straight away. I think that because yours is such an unusual case that it is proving difficult to resolve.

Of course that doesn't make it any less frustrating for you, so I do thank you for your patience.

Thanks for your comment, Peter:)

However, I have approx 180 Items Downloaded successfully from Backstage with iC3/4.

As you know, there's a Thread with problems from other Users (including me) Downloading via iC5's new MarketPlace Downloader. Some of which may have been fixed with the intial Downloader Program Files replacement Files Fix.

Having looked at iC5's Downloader Program Files & carried-out a number "Trial& Error" tests over several days, here, IMO, ic5';s Downloader delivery is un-necessarily complicated, whereas Backstage's Download delivery, is simple. So why change it?

I appreciate Reallusion Technical Support's quick responses & personal attention.:)
