Howdy all,

I downloaded Animator Pro last night 16 Feb 2012, and have been unable to use it since the installer program seems to "hang" and go no further, after it starts "validating your serial number through internet, please wait ..."  Well I waited for hours, rebooted tried again etc and no luck.  Yes the internet connection was up and running and I could find no problem with blocking the program by Windows or by my antivirus, TrendMicro Titanium...  I "allowed" the installer to proceed both times the dialog box came up asking if I should let it run... I have a screenshot attached.  Yes I have input a trouble ticket first thing this morning, but I'm concerned I won't get rapid help so I can actually USE the program this evening after work, and this weekend.  My computer is robust enough to run Frameforge, and Storyboard Artist, and Anime Studio 8, so I don't think my system is the problem here.

I have Windows 7, service pack 1

AMD Athlon 2.8 GHZ processor

64 bit operating system, 4GB RAM..

I have to get this running so I can work a project this weekend, so I'm a little desperate.   Also, I'm hoping that my trying to install multiple times, won't make the system think I have installed on multiple computers, then lock me out, if I ever DO get past the validation process.

Any help is very welcome.  Thanks from a newbie.

Hi..

Sorry to hear of your problems activating CrazyTalk Animator.

It would seem that something is blocking access to the Reallusion server. Are you able to disable Trend and any firewall you my have active just for the duration of the install? This might help solve the problem.

Alternatively it will require Support to help you resolve this. Normally they will be able to advise you some things to try but in special circumstances, where no cause can be found, an offline activation could be implemented.

Certainly though I would first try disabling your security software during the install but remember to put it back on again immediately afterwards.

Thanks Tutor.  I'm awaiting their support to email something.  Then when I get home from work I can try what you suggest.  I'm hoping they send an offline program, so no matter what I can get this running tonight.

Anyway, here's a real newbie question.  How did you make that neat avatar, with movement?  Is it just an animated GIF?  Nice smooth movement in it.
