Can't find downloaded content.

I've had this problem with several things I've downloaded from the Content Marketplace using the Reallusion installer.

I can't find the content after it's installed.

For example I just download the Chuck's Neighbors Freebie (and yes I have the basic pack), and I can't find the content. When I go to my inventory, it shows:

Chuck's Neighbors Freebie
Install Path: \\

Anything with that install path, and I can't find, and don't know how to locate on my hard drive.

Anyone have any insight on where I might find it so I can move it into a directory iClone can find?

If it is the Freebies that I did, you should find them here:

c:/Users/Public/PublicDocuments/Reallusion/Custom/Iclone 5 Custom/Materials Lib/Upper or Lower/Shoe - And I label things clearly and with picture thumbnail.

Anyway, that is where they should have gone but I'll do a test install.

Just checked - accessories will be in your accessories folder accessible inside iclone on left.  Rest will be in Materials Library - path above, and various folders.

  The Freebie are in the material files directory. Load the Bernard then click on upper at the top. on the right side select load material. Goto the materials directory/ upper and select the Bernard upper blue shirt vest.imtl file. It will load the new material on Bernard. I usually save the new Character upper so I don't need to reload it each time I want to use it.

Sorry Alley. I was typing when you were posting. I thought maybe bobdoyle hadn't worked with Material files before.

Thanks to both of you. Yes, even after having iClone since version 1, I'm STILL learning the basics, and didn't think to look in the materials library. :)

that was good info.guys thx. I downloaded the clonecloth trey overcoat 03 and followed your directions. The coat showed up all right but Treys original clothing sticks through. I'm a noob and not ashamed to admit it. Can you tell me what did I do wrong? Thanks in advance.

You first need to open Trey, then load the Trey Overcoat 03 Upper template you purchased, and then load the materials as described previously.

Please note if you purchased only the product C247A Trey Overcoat 03 Upper HERE then this is the template only. You will also need to purchase the materials to add to the template.

Hi, I am new to iclone, trying to find my way around!

Just purchased & downloaded Matilda which shows up in my download folder as .rld file, how do i install this in IClone 5.5 pro.

The .rdl file that you have in your Downloads is the Reallusion downloader - this is something that confuses many users.

When you purchase an item and click on "Download Now" you get presented with the option to Open or Save as shown in this screen shot:

Do not click on Save - click on Open. A new window opens up like this:

Now you can click on Start and your purchased item will be installed.

To get the missing item go to the Reallusion Content Store and click on Inventory, this will show you a list of purchased items.

Just place a "tick" in the box next to the item that you want and then follow the steps shown above.
