Hello, how are you going? :-) I am getting an audio made of a poem that I wrote, and the person reading out the audio for me is going to be playing a guitar too, while he is speaking the audio, and he will tape it for me and send it to me online as an audio file for me to use, as I am paying him to do that

I want to make my character (a bear) move his lips to the words. Will the bear still move his lips in time to the spoken words? Or will the guitar playing in the background stuff it up?

What do you reccomend that I do? Thanks heaps for your time, I do appreciate it a lot :-)

Kind Regards, from Christina :-)

This question has come up before, and I would like to recommend that Reallusion put the answer in its documentation.

The best way to avoid music interfering with lip-sync detection is to record another voice track yourself while listening to the voice+music track. This gives you the opportunity to speak very distinctly at the same rate as the song. The audience will certainly never know the difference.

EDIT: This approach means you will have to export your movie as an AVI and lay the final track over the video using a video editor.

Hello, and thanks heaps for that :-) It won't be me doing the talking , as I am an Australian female, and the person doing the voice is an American male :-)

Do you think I should ask him to send me the voice bit and the music bit as 2 separate tracks?

Would that be the best way to do it do you think?

Thanks so much for you rtime, I really appreciate it a lot :-)

Hi,

It doesn't matter who does the voice over. It is only for getting the avatar to speak at the correct times. The voice over will be deleted in editing when the music score is added in. It will look like the avatar is singing the song.
