Hello !
I was wondering if iClone have support for ( of works with ) Nvidia 3D vision...
I have the Nvidia 3D vision glasses and a ASUS 3D monitor, and I noted that when playing the animation at full screen directly from iClone (F11) , the iCLone image was rendered in stereo.
Offcourse, the green light in the 3D glasses emiter turned to "ON" , and , I think that the 3D vision drivers where actually converting the iClone fullscreen outbput to stereoscopic.
Am i right ? Is there support for this in iClone ? Are there ways ( internal, or external to iCLone ) to control the convergence in this stereo nvidia 3D glasses output ?
When doing stereoscopic animations, it would be very interesting to have this way of "checking" in realtime the 3D output from iClone ( offcourse, not "inside" the interface with buttons, etc.., but when putting iClone to Full screen with F11, because Nvidia's 3D Vision stereoscopic driver works only in full screen. Quadro cards can do "parts of the screen" in stereo, but GeFOrce can only do full screen stereo)
Thanks in advance for any info about this !

Hello, I have noticed the same, Nvidia glasses system activate when full screen option is selected, but i'm afraid that is not a stereo image what I see, but twice the same image, separated horizontally. This is the reason that initially maked me thing that stereo test operation was possible. I think that the f11 connects the 3d glasses function to play videogames in 3d, but the nvidia system is not able to generate a stereoscopic image as in that case does. I´ve been trying to obtain information in nvidia home page, but not found the way to submit my question. However, it will be great to find the way to work with stereo 3d images on iclone, so if you find the solution, let us know in this post.

NVIDIA Cards have Control Panels... Mine is activated by Right Mouse Button (RMB) on the desktop and selecting the panel. You open it and set up the Stereoscopic Viewing options which also tests whether it works for your monitor. My monitor is from HP and it's over 8 years old and still works for the Full Screen option preview of 3D viewing if the card is setup properly. See this image and try to locate your own panel to activate the 3D for your system, if applicable.

Yes, it works, but the 3d effect is so smooth than I can't even appreciate it. If I increase the "depht amount" I don't gain but a major headache. Try to export a 3d capture of the same image: the difference is very evident. Did I make a bad set up, or is it all?
