Hi folks,

Ran into two Newletter Bonus Pack (freebie) installation issues:

#1 - 3DScene_Moon.exe (http://www.reallusion.com/press/0607_realitycheck/default.asp)

"Setup program did not find iClone on your computer, the installation of this bonus pack will be terminated"

I had a look with a the DATA2.CAB file in InstallShield CAB Viewer to confirm that "moon.vns" was indeed present and it is; so it looks like it's an installer issue.

#2 - 3DScene_SwampB.exe (http://www.reallusion.com/press/0612_realitycheck/default.asp)

"Setup program did not find iClone on your computer, the installation of this bonus pack will be terminated"

I had a look with a the DATA2.CAB file in InstallShield CAB Viewer to confirm that "Swamp B.vns" and noticed that the file is "Lawn B.vns".  So I guess there's two issues with this package:

• The installer not detecting iClone 4 PRO as being installed
• The file to be installed is not the correct one.

Hi,

Sadly these old bonus packs were designed for iClone 1.5 and not iClone4. Because of this the installers will not recognise iClone4 on your computer. There really isn't much that can be done unless these older packs are updated at some point (unlikely) or someone has them and is willing to share.

Hi Peter,

Appreciate the reply.  Being an old IT veteran with several tools of my current trade handy, I was able to extract the "moon.vns" file.

I have purchased a Workgroup license which includes iClone 4 PRO, CrazyTalk 6 PRO, popVideoConverter 2, 3DXchange 4 PRO, Genetica 3.5 PRO, and Content Libraries 1/2/3.

Does anyone have the "Swamp B" .vns file and if so, willing to make it available ... assuming it isn't a violation of forum/reallusion rules.
