I have long struggled with both the hair and skin quality when moving from CC4/iCLone to Blender. I tend to get a  "hair-helmet" effect. Given the myriad  of settings in the CC/iC Pipeline tool, am I overlooking a setting? The character looks reasonably good in iCLone, but  very "plastic" in Blender. Here is an iClone render:

The skin and hair both look pretty good (though not  1% realistic, especailly the hair).
Now when I export that to  Blender for Cycles, I get the following:

Obviously the lighting is different, but I'm more focused on the hair  than the skin right now. The blender shot has the Render  Properties -> Light Paths -> Transparency cranked all the way up to 100  with no noticable improvement.
ANy tips for improving the look in Blender? There  are a ton of Cycles settings but I really don't understabd them all so I use the defaults. Any tips will be greatly  appreciated!
