Announcement: Extended License (Jul. 4th, 2022)

We wish to inform you that the option to purchase an Extended License will be available soon. Effective date will be announced on the Reallusion's website. Details of the Extended License are explained below:

Assets will have the option to Extend License: As the number of users of iClone and Character Creator increases, so does the demand for the use of avatars in games, apps, and AR/VR projects. Hence, Reallusion now includes the option for an Extended License to assist users with such needs.

What is an Extended License?: All exportable content with Standard Licenses can be used for games, apps, and AR/VR projects with the exception of CC Component content. Users are required to purchase Extended Licenses for all CC Components used on a CC character.

CC Component content includes ccSlider, ccHair, ccCloth, ccShoes, and ccGloves; which can all be used to compose, modify, and customize into various CC characters. All available CC Component content will be specified in each product page of the Reallusion Stores.

Suggested pricing for Extended Licensing: We suggest pricing the Extended License of a product at 3 times the price of its Standard License.

All applicable assets will include Extended Licenses: Reallusion will assist with the setting of the Extended License price on behalf of the Developer, unless a letter of contention to developer@reallusion.com is received before July 15, 2022. This will also have an effect on all assets that include CC Components on the Reallusion Marketplace and Content Store. Developers will still be able to disable Extended Licenses for their products after this date through the Backend Management system.

Assets without Extended License: Developers can also choose to not offer Extended License for their products, however, keep in mind that these assets will not be eligible for use in games, apps, and AR/VR projects. Extended License, when offered, are not eligible for return or refund unless otherwise stated.

How to set up Extended Licensing for a product?: Extended Licenses are required for ccSliders, ccHair, ccCloth, ccShoes, and ccGloves. When one of these asset types is uploaded to the Marketplace, you will have the option to activate the Extended License and set your price. Make sure to press the ‘Save’ button to store your settings and complete the setup.

The above statement is a disclaimer announcement.
