Is it anyway to convert cc3 avatars into cc4 avatars

This option was available in cc3 and I could covert them into cc3 plus. But with the release of cc4. I don't see that option. So that way characters that were created in cc3 can be used with the new profiles to make all look super realistic when we animate them. Many thanks for reading this message.

I still see it. You have to select the avatar in the scene directory and open the Modify/Character panel...Now to your point it is converting to CC3+ not CC4.

There are no CC4 characters per se. The CC4 labelled characters Kevin and Camila are still CC3+ characters just with the new CC4 facial profiles. So just convert your character to CC3+ and then apply the CC4 Extended or Standard profiles as Wires has already explained.

I might mention that once you save a character, project, or object in iC8, you can't open it in iC7.
