Hello guys!
I think one feature that would come in very useful, possibly in the next update or so, now I don't know weather this is a big deal for anyone but for my self it causes complications.
The flip function that allows us to flip our character in the opposite direction, e.g character walks from left > right, and then from right > left. It would be amazing if we could flip the body and head individually. Reason being, my character that ive built, ive been building it up from ground up over past few years. Ive made versions of bodies with clothing, gloves, hats, etc. I already made 2 versions of the same character. A front facing, and a side facing with all those small little extra sprites. You could say ive built a character that you basically plug and play, giving me the freedom to create multiple episodes without worrying about constantly modifying it.
Now my particular character has a distinctive patch around his eye. (dog character). Ofcourse when you flip the character in the opposite direction, you can imagine, the patch ends up on the wrong side. also on top of that the face is slightly asymmetrical, very noticeable. Ive had to make it 3 characters now. One front, side, and one mirrored, so that when you flip him he looks correct walking from right to left.
Also this means all my sprites that I'm adding over the years, I have to do it to 3 characters rather than two. Also there's the 3d head. All 3 versions of the same character have to constantly be calibrated.
Conclusion. Since the head has an individual 3d head feature, I think it would be amazing to have a separate flip option when animating. So that when we flip the body, the head stays the same, unless I want it to flip. I don't know if anyone agrees with this or not. Personally for me it would be a big life saver.
Apart from that, I am very happy with everything so far. Many thanks for the community and developers!
