Me again  LOL......

Ok, I swore I made a post about this.... I cannot find it so maybe I just thought about it LOL.

Anyway.... I cannot get the toon sliders or the toko motion sliders to show up unless working on one of those characters.  In cc3, ALL the sliders would appear with any character....

Missing in CC4

Unless a toon character is selected.

However, my toons do not pull the toon sliders....  (created using human/toon sliders (body/head/eye)  mix, using a cc3 realistic human base)

But in CC3, all there!

This is going to be a very serious problem for me and CC4 as I have an entire cast that are a combination of both "human" and "toon" sliders.  I have close to a year invested in these characters and still make new characters from them; as you can see, the girl above is not in the image below.  I believe I have 2-3 more to add to this image below.  I can use CC4 to make clothing and facial mods to these characters, but I no longer have the ability to create more.

Is there anyway to work around this?   Can this be fixed on Reallusions end?  I still have my copy of CC3 installed and can use that until addressed.  Having the ability to access any slider on any character really unleashes ones creativity.... it seems like a very big mistake to start limiting this in a more advanced version.

Please help!!! BigGrin

At the risk of a tangent LOL.....  I found an answer....  I finally found something on google.  (google, more powerful than reallusion on how to make their product work LMAO)

Hard to understand this guy at times but it got my sliders looking like CC3 again.....

Now the rant.....

Dear Reallusion..... When you make an upgrade and change so much about the program.... (especially the directory structure)  how about writing into the code a scan of the old program to look for the custom items we created and move them for us.  That is what a proper "upgrade" would do.  I mean CC3 knows where to put our custom sliders, so why did CC4 not scan those folders and move that for us?  To charge us so much and then to expect us to have to totally reset the program with all that we have created is really asking a lot from your consumers.  It's just code... this could have been done.

That was a waste of almost 4 days to find that answer and make this fix!

Anyway.  Something to think about.  It will help eliminate some unhappy customers.  BigGrin
