With the new CC4, just wondering if this pipeline is still the same? Setting the pose, adding the morphs DUF file, etc?

I assume you mean importing other than by using Transformer?

DUF files are not required. If you are importing as a Humanoid (Non-Standard) character you just have to select Create Character in CC4, select your exported FBX, then choose Humanoid. CC4 will then auto-detect the character type (you can change it of you wish) and the character will be imported straight into the viewport.

So e slight UI differences but Transformer in CC4 is essentially the same as in CC3, so your workflow won’t change,

My understanding was that the OP wanted to import the DAZ character without transforming it into a CC character. That can now be done in CC (the part of 3DXchange that has been migrated).

Yes, it is the same... almost. Except that dealing with face is a real pain. It is not automated as it used to be in 3DX.

The varied answers are proof of the confusion, hence my question. There are tutorials on how to do it, but now there is a new, easier pipeline? But it's not mentioned in the docs. It "seems" the answer by the Reallusion member is that it's a simple process now, which is great. But then the last response says that "it's a pain" so there still seems to be some confusion as to the proper process. I wasn't asking for anything fancy, just wondering what the pipeline is now for getting a character from Daz to CC4 (as a CC3+ character). 
It used to involve a number of steps, sounds like that's no longer the case?

Yes, varied answers is a result misunderstanding of your question, since CC4 can now import the same character in more than 1 way (CC standard, non-standard, creatures).
But since you now mentioned CC3+ format as an end result, then based on my brief testing with couple of characters I can say the routine is exactly the same as with CC3.
You use Transformer and import standard Genesis3 or 8 characters just the same. Genesis 8.1 support should come later on with CC 4.1 update.

The "pain" I referred to, was related to importing non-standard characters from DAZ, where face blendshapes/face bones do not automatically map like they used to in 3DXchange.
And as of yesterday I do not see any way to import them from FBX in Face Profile Editor. All attempts result in Errors.

I was confused because the mentioned DUF file has not been part of the process ever since Transformer was introduced.
