Unfortunately, I can't see how this would help us create our own animatable morph sliders for imported third party objects or characters. To what extent would this handout help us?

You create the morphs in the app of your choice, then use the morph slider editor to turn those into custom sliders inside CC. I'd have thought that was what was being asked about?

Well, I have a custom character - not a reallusion character export - and I have morphs in obj format. Unfortunately, I can't add files to this obj via the Morph Slider Creator without specifying a corresponding .objkey file. This .objkey file is created by CC when you export a figure ( https://kb.reallusion.com/Product/50344/What-is-the-objkey-file). I can confirm that this file is created and is located in the specified directory next to the exported object when I export a reallusion figure. But when I export my own figure - in order to get this, for custom figures obsolete file (?) - this file is not created at all. At least, I haven't found it. This in turn leads to the problem that when I import my morphs for my own figure, I can't specify such a file, and thus can't create a morph slider for it. So the above procedure does not work - at least for me - for custom figures. And thus it is not a solution to the actual problem.

Agree with this morphs situation.
This seems to be an artificial way to make custom characters less useful than CC characters.
The morphs are already in the file, just automatically expose them as sliders.

I don't understand why there is no "body morph" section for custom characters that can be assigned the same way as in standard models. The question of whether they will add it... Plugin may be a more realistic scenario.

Thanks for the tutorials, as far as I have seen, they unfortunately only related to the "original" figures of Reallusion. What we are looking for here are possibilities to create morphs for custom figures.

a statement from reallusion would be very welcome. Even if it is inconvenient, because the audibly conveyed breakthrough in terms of character animation certainly does not succeed without this feature. it seems unfortunately petty.
