Hello

I'm new to CC. I just installed the CC4 trial. I loaded CC4 Camilla as my character. Then I went to Modify > Edit Pose, but when I try to pose the character in "IK mode", the move gizmo moves without affecting the character, then snaps back to its original position. I have tried selecting different joints and both moving and rotating, but it has zero effect on the character. Strangely enough, "FK mode" works fine and I'm able to pose the character using standard forward kinematics.

I thought I might've overlooked some "lock" setting or something, but after 3 hours of searching, I'm ready to throw in the towel.

I wonder if I'm doing anything wrong or the software is buggy on my end?

I'm having the same issue.  I'm using the full paid version, I cannot get IK to work in either CC4 or iClone8.  FK works though.  I just deleted and re-installed.  Open the app, load Camila, edit pose, gizmo just snaps back in place.

Strange. IK works for me.

we can not reproduce your issue, very strange ...

Installed to my laptop and it works fine, something about my install.  This is a monster of a computer and all I do on it is 3d and gaming production type work.  Very odd it is having troubles but it seems I'm not the only one.

Yes that’s exactly what happening here too (as shown in your video).

I’m on a pretty beefy setup too (32 core threadripper with 128gb ram and 2080ti) and also tried reinstalling the program.

No cigar

Maybe a hint for the devs, maybe unrelated, but I tend to get this error when I try to launch the program:

After several tries, it usually launches. But it doesn't seem quite right.

My desktop started working with IK in iClone8 for a bit last night then stopped again completely.  I'm also getting those crashes on the desktop.  CC4, IK has not yet worked at all.

Everything works fine on my laptop.
