Are there any motions available for this pack? It appears there are only poses which I have difficulty animating. If I right click and go to perform, that doesn’t work. If I use motion puppet, it only has human motions, so I can’t get the gorilla to walk on all fours or beat chest. I am using hivewires gorilla avatar. Any advice is greatly appreciated

I don't know about your starter pack (?) but there is an old animal pack "Fierce Animals I" that contains a gorilla with your desired motions:

Unfortunately, you probably need to buy the full pack because the single animal doesn't include motions? (see Q&A):

If you want the motions for another gorilla you have to convert the Non-human character (including the motions) into a Non-standard character using 3DXchange.
And finally, you need to refit the converted motions from a 4-legged animal to a biped human-type character.
Sounds difficult, is difficult - but its makeable:
