Hi
Different body parts have outlines both in the program and exported, when they shouldn't because they are the exact same colour and don't show up that way in inkscape.

I have shapes coming off the neck that really shouldn't be showing up past the point of the white outline, but it does.

You can see this here: https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/5f9e17b7-f7b0-44a7-b60d-5e0c.jpg

Towards the mid - top of it, you can see an outline from the neck's shape.

It also happens on export:

However, this logically shouldn't show up since the pieces are the exact same colour and in Inkscape it doesn't show up:

Nor does it show up in exports from Inkscape:

Why is it doing this and how can I stop it?

I really don't want to put the neck under the body because then it looks like this:

The white line of the body just looks kind of yuck like that.  It would be okay if the neck was designed to just stay in that one spot, as I could just set it up so the section of the body that meets the neck doesn't have an outline in that case, but it's not, especially as I'm trying to let this character work for both 4 leg and 2 leg stances.

Why does it show outlines when the outlines are the same character as what it is overlapping and how do I fix this so it doesn't show that outline?

Thank you for your help

Hi...

All your images show a white edge as can be seen below. Obviously this is not visible when against a white background but against a dark background it is clearly visible.

I would take a look on YouTube for some tutorials on removing white edges or fringing as it is also known. The tutorial below is helpful for Photoshop but other tutorials are available with a quick search.

Hi

Thank you for your reply.  The white edge is supposed to be there.  That's her intentional outline.  She's black with a white outline.  But some overlapping bits like the bottom of her neck has a black / grey outline only in Crazytalk and not in Inkscape or images exported from Inkscape that really shouldn't show up because the shape is the exact same colour as the body part it is on top of.  The "neck" is two pieces - one with the white outline that stops short and then another piece with no outline that continues on but for some reason, in crazytalk animator it shows an outline. It really doesn't make sense.  I've turned off anti-aliasing in case that was causing the problem but it didn't fix it unfortunately.

The problem is in the area in the circle:

And since I've started adding legs etc, this problem has become even more apparent.

Do you have any idea why it is adding the extra black outlines to the picture?  They only show up in Crazytalk Animator and in things exported from Crazytalk Animator.  It doens't show up in Inkscape or exports from Inkscape.
