Hi, Im making a film and I have the following graphics card and processor installed: It gives 8.2 Gb's of video memory but that's not enough for multiple avatars in a scene. what do you recommend?

"RX 580" I think you meant AMD.
BFV (Battlefield V) is the game name. So I clearly did not understand what the product in the link is Smile
The standard processor speed is 3.80.
They wrote the maximum speed it will reach when you activate Turbo Boost.

Actually, your system looks normal, but you can increase your RAM.
Although your computer meets the necessary hardware requirements for the programs, your computer may be running different applications that consume RAM in the background.

Thanks, you bring up a good point. Sometimes my system runs perfect while other times it is useless. Maybe a anti virus or something is running in the background. Thats the only way to explain the tremendous drop in power. I think ill look into a way to find out if something is draining my computer.

I haven't tried it, but I've already read messages here that the characters you can put in iClone are limited. I did not have a problem with 4 characters, but it may depend on other assets that you will use in this program.

I use the same processor as you and my video card is different but 8gb.I just have high RAM and after doing this, I saw that many programs run more easily.

PS, Is there a software that can tell me what is running and draining my computer and allows me to turn that app off?

You can close your unnecessary startup programs from the Task manager with CTRL + ALT + DEL.
Again, you can see the amount of processor, gpu and ram used in the task manager.
You can also add your RL program and your working folders to the excluded folders section of your virus program.
There is no program that I use specifically.

Is your processor getting hot?
Because if it gets too hot, it can cause slowdown.
That's why you can use liquid cooler.
There are definitely better graphics cards, but you should be able to work normally with the card you have.

I couldn't find the page at the moment, there was a list of video cards where the compatibility of Reallusion programs was tested.

This page gives system requirements, but it's outdated: https://manual.reallusion.com/iClone_7/ENU/Content/iClone_7/Pro_7.4/04_Introducing_the_User_Interface/System_Requirements.htm.

In general, an Nvidia graphics card is recommended over an AMD card because certain features are only supported by Nvidia cards.

Yes, the page is really out of date, but since the RX 480 was tested, it was probably tested on the RX 580.

I read all the new stuff iclone 8 is going to be able to do.. Its nice, but the graphics card needed to use those features will cost an arm and a leg so since i'm now retired i'm probably at the end of the line with iclone since the things I enjoy doing I can do on my present hardware using blender and have fun.     Its been fun, but I can no longer keep up Smile

The cost of a card that would use things listed.. its too rich for me right now.   Maybe in a few years ^^.    I will keep iclone in my mind though just in case i win the lottery ^^.

If you can use iC7 comfortably, maybe a little slower for iC8, but I don't think you will need to change your hardware anyway.
Maybe an additional ram.
I don't know about your current system, but actually the program's minimum requirements are pretty low. (Although it is difficult to work with a minimal system)
However, if you want to run iC8 and Unreal programs at the same time, you need a slightly more powerful system. At least 32gb/64gb ram and 8gb video card seems to be required.
