Hi,

I'm much interested in trying out Character Creator but I haven't been able to install the trial because I'm exclusively on Linux.

Currently, the installer program somehow thinks that I'm using a Virtual machine and refuses to continue.

I'm not asking you for a Linux version, even though it'd be very nice for people like me. But I have a feeling that there's a good chance that the program would work as it is on WINE (which is a kind of an emulator for Windows programs) only if the installer doesn't impose such a restriction.

Nowadays, WINE has been improved a lot so I can run most of Windows games and such programs like Substance Painter without a problem on Linux. As such, I'd much like to try Character Creator, and potentially purchase it if it can be made to work on my machine by any means.

So, please consider change the installer so that it allows installing the program on Linux via WINE.

Thanks!

RL has stated many times that you need an actual install of windows , even bootcamp on a mac computer.

But no emulators.

Unfortunately there are no plans to support virtual machine software as AutoDidact already mentioned. To run Character Creator 3 you will require a computer running Windows 10/11.
