Thanks everyone for the replies. I thought that this would be "easy", but it appears that I need to do a lot of studying and tinkering. I'm feeling a little frustrated because what I want to do I can't do NOW and real life gets in the way. Please forgive the rant there is so much to learn and not enough time!!!!

hello Wouldn't it be "easier" to just use poser and or daz without bringing it into iclone. That seems to be the better route to take. hey, but that's just me!

Could you just green-screen in Poser or DAZ, then use popVideo to get it into iClone? Admittedly, you'd have to render the video first - which might take a few days!

Thanks Pamera and peteradam for your suggestions for using Poser and Daz. These are two programs that I've looked and dabbled a little bit with their interfaces however, I found them to be a little harder for me to get around. FOR ME, iClone seems to be more user friendly and easier FOR me to understand. I don't even want to do anything with popvideo YET! Thank you again. Maybe I'm putting the cart before the horse

Yes, I use Daz3 pro and Poser 8 and you can bring to poser figure into daz and with Daz FBX plug in. The plug in will cost you from daz and it works quit well with Iclone Exchange. The problem I have with it. You can not transfer the character with clothing on. The clothing comes out a mess. Maybe someone can help me out there. What good is transferring Actor if you cannot get cloths on them. Props are great in transferring to exchange then to Iclone 4 pro. Does someone have any answer for transferring the cloths for Daz Figures.

Just wondering if you saw this thread https://forum.reallusion.com/Topic50434-161-1.aspxI bought the bundle but haven't tried it yet. It not only will bring everything over but in a poly count that will work better in iClone. Robert

I'm having problems with exporting Poser character to Iclone. I have a character that is requiring Victoria 4 in Poser and when I open/ make it in Poser it looks like this I save it as Poser project file and then when I open it in Daz 3d it looks different, like on photo below What should I do to make it look the same in Daz3D as it looks in Poser?

Hi Pochontas, From the images it looks like the morphs are not loaded into Daz Studio. Daz Studio can open your Poser content (just add your Poser Runtime in Daz Studio) so why not open the character directly in Daz Studio. To do this in Daz Studio you can do the following. Open V4, then apply the V4 Morphs and then your character. It should then look the same as your Poser version.
