This visual defect occurs when you are using the Perspective camera and is most noticeable when using close up profile views as you have shown. The Perspective camera shows the Z-depth relation of each item inside your scene which you can see in 3D View. The size of the sprites and objects in the scene alter automatically adjusted in accordance to the distance of the item.
So to avoid this issue occurring you can select Orthographic camera in Project Settings. Alternatively you can adjust the Perspective lens value to 200mm which also reduces the Perspective effect.
