Great work. One of the best iclone animations Ive seen. I noticed onsome scenes you many objects. Did it slow down your system much. Im wrking on one and Ive had to remove some actors cause my system screeches to 2 fps.
What system configuration do you have?

Thanks for the kind words... Well it did kinda chug along I must say. I'm running W7 64bit on a MacPro with a Nvidia Gforce 8800 GT with only 512 MB and a BOXX PC with XP 32 bit running a Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT with a Gig of memory. So i was able to work on one let it go to work and then work on the other. The screen refresh was pretty slow at times but manageable. Of course you can turn items off and that helps a bit. I did try to use as small a texture map as I could get away with and keep simple objects with low-poly counts... that really helps. Also I just render small scenes one at a time, of course, and edit it all together in Vegas mark

Thanks for the kind words. I'll admit I've dabbled in animation a long time. Way back in collage I even built an animation "light table" out of the guts of and old pinball machine to use with my 16mm Bolex...oh that was long ago... since then I did move on to Lightwave 3D, VUE and Poser but nothing much more than flying logos and intro pieces. I'm pretty new to iClone and while I have a lot of issues with it, it is a blast to crank out crazy ideas really fast and with just a little bit of planning. Just hope the program continues to mature. mp

Ah... methinks someone may have a crystal ball. Thanks for your confidence and encouraging words through the year! I was surprised I must say. I was hoping for a little prize, which was great, but but this is way too much fun. With all the very fine entries I'm truly humbled and honored. This has inspired me to start on another chapter in the First Wave Saga....we'll see if I can get something decent rollin'.....let's hold our breath!... mp

I don't think a crystal ball was necessary to see ' First Wave ' in the top three, or in first place Congratulations on a superb entry Chris
