Since it is not a character, per se, I'm wondering how the animations would translate, as they involve multiple birds moving independently. https://www.daz3d.com/ireal-animated-flocks-of-birds

I tried the large flock and even with just one animation the total size was nearly 2GB and thus would not load into 3DXChange (ah, our beloved 32 bit program. I would use other words, but "beloved" kind of fits into the type of adjective I'd use for it, without being impolite). You can't just drag it over into iClone because the animation won't come in that way. So I don't see much use with this and iClone (perhaps with a smaller flock but what's the point, then?)

Thanks Mike -- maybe iC8 will have 64-bit "3DX" built-in...one can hope, no?

RL's official position, IIRC, is that 3DX WILL be updated. Eventually. Perhaps even this century. The only thing I'm sure of is I won't be alive to see it.
