Most animation tools have it:
A track that allows you to import video files for background or rotoscoping, or to import PNG sequences (the sprite editor is not sufficient for this).

Hi... You can currently load a video as a background and use it for rotoscoping, but you don't get a dedicated video track on the timeline. What are the problems you have using this method?
