Just saw the release and I thought how easy it is to see and preview the animation in the icon, while i know animation isnt possible in IClone Content Browser is there a way to get a capture of the animation saved in the animation thumbnail so its easier to see what the saved animation is before bringing it into the scene? Maybe a hover preview to show the animation on a base mannequin before adding it to scene?

Almost all of the poses/animations in iClone have a preview thumbnail., with a larger view on mouse over. While not animated the user can get at least an idea of what to expect.

True but that's for IClone bought content. All of the animations I have imported from 3DXChange into iclone all have general icons that don't preview the actual animation.

You can make your own typical animation pic/thumbnail. Just, after saving the custom/imported animation, look for a typical frame in the animation and set this frame as a new tumbnail in your customs-folder.
