Hey Fellows, is it the right place to ask a question? Any DAZStudio >>>> Character Creator 3 users here? I purchased this HiveWireHorse few days ago. In Daz horse looks fantastic, but I need to render it in Character Creator 3 Iray Render engine. After I import horse.obj into CC3 via Create>>>Accessory>>>OBJ horse actually look less realistic, but still good. Problem appears when I try to preview render it. Character Creator crashes each time. Could it be to much geometry of the horse? I attach screenshots normal and wireframehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/45cd359a-c44a-497d-bfeb-2bdf.jpghttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/69f6e0c6-d0d7-4e2f-a9de-9db7.jpghttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/b04d39b6-7b59-4272-ab67-81d0.jpg

Renders fine for me.

Now, I did bring the horse in via Transformer (always recommended anytime you have stuff from Daz).  That preserved the textures properly.  I made him an accessory.  I suspect you won't have any trouble if you do this.

You have to import it with a character.  Just put a Gen 8 avatar in the Daz scene with it, and when it comes in make it an accessory (it will, by default, be cloth).

After it's an accessory you can move it around and position it as you wish.  You could also export it with morphs to alter it as you want but I didn't play around with this.  You can also save it as an accessory to use with other avatars.

Everything work fine. Can I replace this G8 human with CC3? And what about tail and mine, possible to add it to the scene?  https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/1d841854-ea69-483b-a9c7-699d.png

And last question: is it possible to morph the horse? After I change it to accessory it doesn't have skeleton I guess or maybe I can't see it somehow...

Bump map doesn't look fine for me, as far as I see. https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/128e46cc-5078-434f-b95c-7a98.jpg

Unfortunately (or not) CC3 really isn't designed for more than one avatar, human or otherwise.  To do this correctly you'd really want to bring the Horse through via 3DChange into iClone, as well as your avatar.  CC3 is mostly just for character creation, which is why it's named that.  Any stills you produce are really only for testing purposes.  iClone is the place for animation, and using your rigged horse there is the way to go.

Thank you for reply. Actually I use CC3 for concept art at the moment so I only need some still images. However I could prepare some horse pose in Daz Studio and this way import it to CC3, I'm not sure...anyway this topic is SOLVED. I atached some HQ closeups of ma latest renders. Stunning !!!

PS.
I'm not sure why, but in the preview window in CC3 the textures look limited like 1K for entire horse, but when I Final Render I get this high quality images!https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/598a93af-5b25-479f-a474-07b9.pnghttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/e8b85b89-a965-46b6-98b9-19ce.pnghttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/98d8033b-9d15-4bcc-92ee-4e28.png
