Hi all, so I know how to import a Daz3D character into CC3, make it a morph etc. However, I'm wondering if there's a way to import the facial expressions with it so that it works like it does in Daz instead of the default ones in CC3?

For example, I have a stylised toddler character like this:

In Daz, the character smiles like this:

However, in CC3 the smile (using the edit face pose feature) looks like this:

Obviously, the pose morphs for the character in Daz were made specifically for that character. So is there a way to carry those across with the character to CC3?

Thanks!

Just to complement this:

You can also save the morphs inside CC3

so that all other CC3 figures can use them, too:

For the sliders you can also directly use the pictures from DAZ, like these:

or those:

Good luck!

Thanks both! That's great Smile. Just to double check though, does that mean there's no way to do this in bulk/batch?

Yes, Transformer does not allow bulk import of morphs for avatars (it DOES for props.  It's really a shame they don't allow this for avatars but I'm guessing it's a programming issue as we've been asking for this for years).

I remember that I once saw a video about this, where you would have to change the Morph Export Rules in DAZ to include the relevant morphs:

I just searched for it and finally found it:

But of course, this will only be useful for iClone but not for the single sliders in CC3.

Right, it will work in iClone but not CC3 (which is what the OP asked).
