Hello,

I recently purchased iClone 7 and everything works perfectly, except that I cannot get it to cast any shadows. When I use iRay, then I see the shadows, but in regular preview mode or renders, there are no shadows. The Shadow box in Visual panel is checked and I have tweaked every possible option under Atmosphere, light properties, etc. with no results. I have also tried to find posts on Google about this issue but I only get an archived post for an old version of iClone.

So I am wondering if someone else is having this issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Switch Auxiliary light off. The Aux light is to make it easier to position things in dark scenes. It is not for lighting.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I turned off the auxiliary light and nothing happened.

In fact, when I follow the tutorials, I see that just by starting a new file and creating a floor and a primitive like a box will show a shadow produced by the box. That is not the case for me, so I have no clue what I am doing wrong.
