I am creating a scene where a character (a now famous Gecko) gets a call while he is driving a golf ball collector tractor at a driving range.

My plan is to manually have a few balls hit the window of the tractor because everyone aims for it (or I did the last time I hit a golf ball 20 years ago).

What I would like is to "stream" balls kind of randomly, although golf balls are so small they are hard to see.

Edit: I just had an 'Aha' moment and realized since my character is so small, this means the tractor he is driving would also be small, which makes everything else seem larger in comparison, so I changed my image to have the marker signs be bigger, so the balls can be bigger also.https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/d8605979-91f0-4c7f-97be-dd07.png

When I started to do the first one manually, I realized I need a golf ball emitter, but I don't know how to do that.

Before I start down the road of trying to do this manually, I just thought I would ask if anyone else knows of a way to duplicate a stream of balls to go across this scene, in a kind of arched path.

Thanks,

I sort of figured it out. I created a flight manually, I am sure the laws of physics are violated from my flight path, but this is a 15 second bit in a 20 minute video, so not a real important part of the shot.

All I did was after I set my key frames to light the ball, and have it land and then bounce a little, I collected the clip and then went to Add To Perform.

Then I just duplicated a bunch of balls, and I just to different frames and click the Perform > Fly.

I am not even showing the people hitting the balls, so this should be easy from here.

I know its probably bad, but I find myself saying 'It's good enough'

I would still like to know an easier / better way if anyone knows of one.https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/e325c6e6-cadd-4b93-9ad7-e9e2.png

Yes I have used that plug in.

I finished my video with the golf reference. The golf part is towards the end about 15 minutes
