Hey all! Does anyone know if iClone will run on one of the newer MacBook Pros with an AMD Radeon 5300 or 5500? Using Bootcamp of course. I'm assuming it won't run as smooth as a PC with a nice graphics card. I was just curious if it will run at all. Thanks!

Reallusion does NOT reccomend trying this. They will give no tech support to anyone who tries.

Specs wise iClone 7 should run reasonably well on the Macbook Pros using Bootcamp. However, with only 4GB of video ram you will be limited to smaller project sizes. Really though the only way to judge how iClone will run is to try it out. You can always install the trial version to check before committing to purchasing iClone.

I'm using IClone on a 2018 MacBook Pro with a 6-core Intel i9, 32GB RAM, and a Nvidea 1080ti and it works really well. As Peter said, I recommend an external video card in order to use it to its full potential.

I’m using a Nvidia 1080ti as an EGPU and it works well. Once in a while I have to reinstall drivers, but besides that it’s fantastic. Also, Reallusion has always been extremely helpful with tech support even though I’m using a Mac with Bootcamp.

Hello, I am working with iMac Pro with an AMD VEGAS 56 graphics card which cannot work with IRAY. I am therefore trying to equip myself with an eGPU but I do not know which equipment to choose which would be compatible with my iMac. Is the installation easy or does it require special knowledge? I remain at your disposal for advice.

Hi... I would recommend at least an Nvidia GTX 1070, 1080, 1080ti or if your budget allows an RTX 2070 or 2080. You may also be able to work with mid-range cards like the Nvidia GTX 1660 or RTX 2060 but performance will not be as good as with one of the above cards.
