Thanks Peter for your reply. I did what you said , i.e. set the screen scaling to 100%, and 3DXChange started just fine.
The good news is that after the first start, I could set the scaling back to the manufacturer recommended value of 250%, and 3DXchange would still start without crashing.
This leads me to believe that it must be some variable or registry value that isn't properly initialized the first time the program starts, so it should be fairly easy to fix.
But if such is the case, my question is why don't you guys at Reallusion try and fix it, instead of dealing with angry users?
