So I have this Warrior chick with long hair in a 2d side walk animation.
I want the long hair to flow with her movement, but when I add bones to her hair,
the bones have no affect on her head.
I tried " Create Free Bone " with a sprite of just her head, bones work fine, but the new Free Bone Sprite is in a
scene all it's own and can not be moved though the layers. The new sprite is behind the torso when it needs to be
in front of the torso...

Is the hair part of the 'Head' or 'Body'?
There are two separate types of bones: one for the 'Head' and one for the 'Body'.
If you have done it as a free bone character, perhaps you might want to link it to the body part of the character.

The hair part of the head. The bones were preloaded by Rellusion = Athletic Tim_S2.ctTBactor

"two separate types of bones"

All I see is "Add Bone" in the Bone editor.

Check in the Composer Mode whether the hair sprite appears in the Layer Manager>Talking Head.

1. In the Composer Mode, click Layer Manager>Talking Head>Face>the plus sign.
2. Search the image file eg. hair
3. The hair is imported and be part of the Talking Head.
4. In the Layer Manager, click the hair sprite that you have just imported.
The bone will be highlighted.
** Don't forget to tick Show Bone and choose Face instead of Body.

To reposition the bone:-
1. Click the hair sprite in the Layer Manager
2. Move the sprite in the Composer Mode.
The bone will move as well. Position it appropriately.
3. Once bone has already been positioned, while the sprite is still selected, click Sprite Editor.
4. Now, move the hair sprite in the Composer Mode accordingly.

Next, arrange the layer order for the hair accordingly.

Will you share your file?
I'll see what has gone wrong if I can spot it.

You dont have to add bone to it ...
if you follow the step accordingly, the bone will be designated automatically.

Don't know if this will be enough but here is the project file.
http://tapdroid.com/bluworiorchick1.ctProject

Why can I import a prop or free bone, but can not bring it to front layer?
If I could just get the free bone actor in front of the hair, this would work?
Why can we not add bones to the Back Hair?
All I Want To Do Is Deform The Hair .........>.>.>. UHG
