No it is not, sorry ToyStory. Hope you are not offended if I call Marburg virus as it is - a Marburg virus, or Ebola or Spanish Flu.
I've had enough already with this political correctness BS and reserve the right to call things what they are.
And I hope we stop politicizing things on the forum.

The Marburg Virus is the Marburg Virus, as it is called so officially.
That was in 1967, I can imagine the experts would have called it different nowadays.
After reading discussions about "Wuhan Virus, Chinese Virus, or Asian Virus"and the fact the official name for the disease was deliberately chosen to avoid stigmatization,
I found all the arguments to do so reasonable...
I decided to say something in this thread, as I always try to when I face xenophobia, homophobia, racism, ...
I must admit the term "xenophobia" is maybe a bit harsh in this case...
But I don't consider this discussion as "politix", it's about humanity in terms of humanitarianism.
Maybe we are a bit more sensitive in Europe and even 6 members of the G7 refused to use "Wuhan Virus" in their joint statement...
Everybody has the right to call it whatever they want and even declare political correctness "bullshit".
So, I did not want to "politize" things here, but "humanitize" things...
And as an "anarchist" (as far this works in our world) I don't care about politix.
I did my usual "speak out" and hope it will add up positively to my "karma"

All this does not change my respect and appreciation for esp. Mike and 4u2ges,
I'm very thankful for their help and expertise!
