I'm not a 3DX-pert, but it looks like maybe the skeleton is offset from the root (so that extension is going from the skeleton back to the root position)? Try resetting the skeleton to 0,0,0 (I think there is a button near the top left side for this -- not at my iClone PC right now -- Reset to Center or Reset to Zero or something like that). If that doesn't work, not sure how to eliminate the offset...good luck.

Afaik, CC3 doesn't import genitalia.. just transform that into a girl and you should be fine....
I have ran into some issues as well when importing certain skeletons that looks like they have some serious medical condition but indeed it looks like a rootbone rotated.. or a tailbone of sorts.. Using the 2-sided selection and doubleclicking in the mainview on that bone would reveal what it is..
