Hi , have been been experimenting trying to make a seamless texture workflow with substance and CC3, think i may have worked out a solution, seems to look ok... it means means placing all the body UV's on one UDIM, then exporting from substance at 8k to get a 4k resolution, but it's seamless, which is great for skin texturing, and no need to switch between programs to do it, although they say substance is about to release full UDIM support, but who knows how long that will be, although it's going through the Beta test right now... ? Let's hope soon. so here is the base of my first successful attempt art creating a seamless texture for CC3 purely in substance painter... you can then cut up the body uv udim, and resize for different resolution, with 16 pixel dilation padding from substance...

I dig it. Question though, what's the story behind that subtle brick pattern undertone?

thanks, ah, the brick was just for testing the seamless aspect, seemed like an appropriate pattern for the job, mainly want to progress now to doing more detailed and patterned skin textures... see what comes from the lab Smile
