Iclone can't connect to faceware realtime

Hello,

I just installed the trial version of the faceware realtime for iclone and also the motion live plugin for iclone. The problem is that I can't connect faceware to Iclone.
In the motion live window I tried to connect to Faceware Realtime and also to FacewareLive,but both haven't worked. They just tell me failed and the preview + record button remains disabled. Instead of the phisycal webcam I'm using a virtual cam,called "manycam". I have placed a video inside the manycam window and it has been loaded also inside the faceware realtime for iclone. When the video plays,faceware realtime tracks the head movements correctly,but as I said,iclone can't connect to faceware. I suspect that the problem is not a connection problem from iclone to faceware because I see that near the faceware live and faceware realtime the item actors is 0,instead,according to some tutorials it should be 1. Offhand the only thing I can think of is the software versions of things might not coincide (IOW, perhaps the trial version hasn't been recompiled to be compatible with the release versions of everything else).

Don't really know what else to tell you except if there is something I can demo for you that would give you what you need to know before buying I'd be glad to help.

You have to activate Faceware Realtime by actually clicking on a green circle so is becomes solid (which I see you did not).

I need to make it work. I can't buy the licensed version before to be sure that it works in my situation. Even because it costs more than $1000. What do u suggest me to do ? To contact directly Reallusion ?

It seems you are making the same mistake. In a video you have selected the Realtime Faceware row, but you never clicked the green circle I pointed you to.
That is the only way to activate and connect. What happened if you do that? What error comes up if any?

It would not hurt to put in a trouble ticket for this.

However, it WILL work in the situation as you describe you are trying, as I've done it a lot.  It's not as good as Live Face (with the iPhone) but it does have the advantage of working with video through the webcam emulation.
