It seems to be a problem when I click on the default hairstyle to add to a character the color is rainbow. Every hairstyle is like that. https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/29edb5cb-2e2d-44b2-bea3-cf39.pngIs a way to fix that?

That seems like a bug,  with the hair selected go to the appereance editor, in the drop down list you will see something like base(black) and red green etc. Match all materials to the settings shown in black, resetting the hue value should suffice unless other values have gone bananas as well

I can't reproduce the issue.

What do you mean by "Default Hairstyle"?

Looks like some funny lighting going on. Check for that.

It is not the lighting it is the materials in the ae out of sync with each other. One of the rl short haircuts has this issue when the ae is loaded. Usually one of the materials is out of sync with the others returning the hue to a default position fixes it

Try as I may, but I can't reproduce it with that or any other hair for that matter. As it concerns a new user, I wonder if it is something in his/her setup.

I've tried a good selection of Hair and still can't reproduce the issue. Since the items  "default hairstyle" and "one of the rl short haircuts" aren't listed in my folders it's impossible to know just which hairstyles to test.

Guys,

Don't worry about this -- I've never seen this and I have HUNDREDS of hair styles (literally).  If the OP ever comes back (he's posted once so far) he can post a sample file we can load in.

the Default is most likely set to "digital human hair" ,,, one possible solution to get rid of the "Rainbow Look" is that the "hair settings" have to be switch to either PBR or Traditional  ....this can be done by first clicking on the "avatar's hair", then go to "Materials" in the "Modify Tab"  and you will see "Texture Setting" and "Shader Type"with a drop box...click on the drop box and switch accordingly
