Hi all, I know this may seem very stupid question, but I've checked tutorials on reallusion site and found no answer. I know this plugin allows transfer characters to UE, I also know you can link above character to mesh imported into unreal and transfer animations. But how aboujt SAVING those animations - not in damned sequencer, but in engine? What if I am in no need to create sequencer scene and just want to export some animation to UE which lately I want to use animate game characters as I want - is there any way doing this, or I will still need use iclone->3dxchange pipeline? All tutorial videos about this plugin only show damned sequencer (which is great tool, but in no way can replace separated animations need), so what about ability to SAVE animation?

Please see the tutorial below. This explains how to export characters with animations and use them in Unreal. Character Creator 3 Tutorial - Animation Retargeting in Unreal

Peter(RL), Thanks for the link, but I already watched it. In other words both iClone and Live Link plugin are quite useless if you want animate character for UE? Exporting motion from CC is last thing I would like to do, because I can not modify or even preview those animations.

Quite the opposite. Unreal Live Link is a massive time saver if you want to animate your CC characters in Unreal. Likewise if you export any animations with your character from CC3 those animations are available in Unreal for previewing or applying to your character as required. As I mentioned in another post, I think you should spend some time with the Unreal Live Link tutorials. These will help you get to grips with the process of animating your characters in Unreal. Once you grasp the basics I think you will see the possibilities available.

This is last attempt. I want a simple answer to simple question: is there a way to export animation trough unreal live link and save it in engine? I am talking about single animation for single mesh - that simple. Sequencer is only useful if you are making some cutscenes. What if I want use those animations during gameplay? Is there any way to save them? And please do not tell me to watch tutorials - I watched them and opened this topic after them, cause i found no answer to above question. So, if you know how - tell me how.
