Last week I purchased iClone 7, 3DXchange 7, and Character Creator 3 Pipeline because I was informed by the sales representative that they were all necessary for creating a character and exporting it to another program (Blender). However, I've been creating characters, exporting them to ZBrush, exporting them to Blender, and not once have I needed to open iClone 7 or 3DXchange 7.
It seems iClone is primarily for animation.
Are iClone 7 and 3DXchange 7 necessary for the creation and export of characters in CC3? Am I missing something here?
EDIT:
I should clarify, I'm only interested in using Reallusion software for character creation, not for animation. Animation, rendering, etc... will be done in other software (Blender).
