Hi, the first time i am using a hat on one of my charcters. Of course there isn't happening something magic that makes the hair disappear under the hat. So far the only work-around i found is hiding the faces in the mesh editor. But i was hoping there would be a better (and perhaps easier) method. Could it be done with a weightmap? Thanks, 3Dtester

No, the hiding is the acceptable (and easy) method (although you can move them a bit in Edit Mesh as well).

Yep, hiding is the easiest. Morphing is the best if you want to take the hat off and back (not an easy though):
