Hi everyone I'm a complete novice to the 3D world, and really have only gained experience in photo manipulation at hobbyist level. I have tried using DAZ 3d but gave up after a while. I saw the Reallusion products on Tumblr (side ad) and thought I would give it a go. Went on to You tube to investigate and said I'm going to get this. It's more user friendly than most of the other packages out there, and is easier to use as a beginner as I am myself. I'm not into producing stuff for games etc. but will be able to produce characters easily enough and port them to Affinity Photo in Jpg format where I can then turn them into wallpaper or post them on Deviant Art site. That's my plan anyway.

Hey, me too—same background. I'll say I am pretty good at Photoshop, but there is no Photoshop work here except pasting and cropping a "Print Screen" and putting a black border around it... I started on August 1st, and spent more than a month in Unity, so this is where I am after about two months of work in CC3. Maybe you can reach this level faster though, because I'm sharing the techniques in the Daz to CC3 thread in my signature.

Check the RL tutorials in youtube, they are very well paced for either newbies or advanced users and there are many many tutorials on different subjects. And keep an eye on the forums too

If you have an iPhone X or later you can use that to capture facial animation. Please see the page below for more information. https://mocap.reallusion.com/iclone-motion-live-mocap/iphone-live-face.html
