It did not change the sails at all. It did fix the problem I was having with the rigging, but still no realistic looking sails (I did apply the 2-sided function to all the materials). Thank you.

Try this... This will open up a "Adjust Color" panel, and there you can INCREASE the BRIGHTNESS of the opacity channel, making it more opaque. The grayscale level of that channel will define a " maximum opacity," so even setting the Opacity slider to 100% will not make a "gray" value entirely opaque. The opacity slider can only decrease the level of opacity.
