So I'm trying to figure out if I bought what I actually need and this thread (although 2 months old) is close to answering the question.
I bought cc3 pipeline + iclone7 to try and satisfy two use cases:
1. Creation and rigging of characters for use in Unity. This seems to be cc3 pipeline, and I've semi- got this working day 1.
2. Creation of animation for those characters for use in Unity.
Here's where I'm lost. I'm assuming that I can create the motions (or modify the existing motions) in iClone7 and somehow link them to a character in cc3 pipeline and export to Unity that way. I'm *assuming* that if I have one of the export methods (cc3 pipeline vs. 3dexporter) than I can at minimum send animated fbx files to Unity...
Is that correct? Or do I need to buy 3dExporter for animations?
If that is correct...does anyone have a link to a tutorial that shows what that pipeline would look like? I can move my character to iClone7 but I'm not sure how to move the animations (motions) back...because I'm new and lazy most likely
Thanks in advance!
