I want to second Mike's suggestion; male pattern baldness would be a very great asset. Polygon reduction also tends to mess up the hairline as can be seen in the image in my previous post. I could see the possibility of a "head stubble" product helping in that area too. I'd still be interested in balding heads regardless.

Thanks for the feedback, after I release the CC1 Stubble Trouble pack I'll work on the baldness one.

Hmm. I still have no idea why either. I've been working with updating the substance all day and have just uploaded an updated copy of it.
There was only one issue I had and that was with the seam at the back of the neck... the Normals needed to be inverted on substance load up which I have now fixed but as for thae light/shadows I am clueless as well. Try this update and let me know if that fixes the issue.
Bob

I had the same problem which seems to occur if avatars come without a bump/normal map for the head. The substance file adds a green map (material?) to the bump channel. This worked for me: Simply set its strengh to 0 and it looks as expected.

As i was "down" in Substance i simply did not notice that...
Bob surely would have checked it if he had the file.

@ Bob, can you change this routine?

SO, IT WORKS! THANX

I'm glad that this really seems to be the solution.

And I'm glad i don't have a weird issue with my iClone, as Mike could make Floyd work and Bob found nothing.
As Bob has my project now, he surely would have seen this.

@ Mike or anyone else
By the way, how do i create bumps if there are no, i mean they have a function, character would look even better, isn't it?
CC3 seems not to create them with Transformer...
At least Imrae (the "white" girl in Black) went through "Advanced + Bake Body Textures 4096"

I've just got your file. I'm heading off to bed in a moment and I'll check it in the morning.
I've not had that issue (plenty of others while developing this though). What I suggest is this:
Load a RL CC3 avatar into Character Creator 3 (male or female, or both one after the other and do the following.
1. Go to the Material tab and select the Normal map icon for the head (of each avatar)and save it/them to your hard drive.
2. When you load avatars that have a green normal map icon, just load in the saved Normal map texture. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

As for the Daz characters not having bump maps I'd suggest that using the method above will fix them (male or female) and/or using AgeGen substance to give them some mild features.
Hope this has helped
Bob
