Nope, it ain't there, at least not on Floyd (I could test another avatar, I guess, but I was trying to dupe the test). I'll make a short video to show the whole thing. https://mega.nz/#!d6oyiSjJ!2XS1rvDywDuDAS5Z7Ia2YsZR4BREKuy9crsNxtQZqWo

Hi. The substance itself is really just a texture effect and as such probably doesn't come under the terms for an export license. There was no option in the content up loader or on the market place back end. Personally I'm of the mind that as long as the substance isn't shared the beard/texture can be exported as the textures are part of the model and not clothing or hair or accessories, etc.Ok, I'll go with that. The price is right.

Aw... dunno how I can put this to you.... This version only works on CC3 characters in iClone 7. CC1 version (free for AgeGen customers) will work in both Character Creator 3 and iClone 7. There is a texture mapping difference between CC1 and CC3 avatar versions subsequently the reason for two separate packages. Character Creator 3 and iClone 7 load the substances differently. An updated version of the CC3 Stubble Trouble will be updated shortly... evidently the normals were being inverted and it caused some problems.

Oh, that's okay. For some reason I thought this was a CC3 thing (I should have known, since the texture editor in CC3 is pretty broken). No problem, then -- I was just trying it out to see if I could duplicate the problem. I'll see if that is the case.

Okay, got it working fine on Floyd so I'm not sure what the earlier problem was. Since you've changed the Substance any chance the manual will be updated? The real problem with using this is you need to see some examples of what you are doing since you've created so many variations, and "Whiskers" no longer appear as they do in the manual, for example. We just need to see samples of each of the very many FX. But -- great work. This is all I've needed many, many times (when a full real beard is just overkill -- and I'm even thinking this will work great in conjunction with many other beards and mustaches I have to add the extra realism needed).

Here's Floyd with a "regular" beard combined -- the addition of Stubble Trouble really makes this beard (from Daz) work well. I actually think I may not do many (any?) male characters without some bit of stubble. BTW, this is Floyd just moved back into CC3 -- while you can't apply or edit it there, you can at least move it back and save and work with it there.

Oh, and now I think you ought to build onto your great product here and offer something like "bald stubble" or some such. It's *really* hard to get convincing male pattern baldness on characters, and I think your stubble routine would work well on this. Just a thought, but it would offer up even more realism and possibilities without too much extra work (you could leave your basic substances alone and just move the areas they affect).

Here's a mesh-merged Daz hair and beard polygon reduced by 92.5%. A lot of polys on the chin got knocked out, but a 5-minute test run with Stubble Trouble fixed it up pretty good. I like it. Great potential.

As per your previous post re the manual. Yes the manual is being updated and the examples in the library will be much clearer to see. After staring at so many photographs of bearded men, I will lift my gaze to their heads and create much the same for bald heads. My sparse hair pack sort of fits in hair but I think a textured convincing base probably be a good addition. By the way Floyd looks good... Is he a Daz character or one from the realism pack? Cheers Bob Btw I'm still in the process of updating the pack. Will PM through the market place when it is done.

Great potential. Hey that looks really great. I think even when/if RL include hair like that in a future iteration Stubble Trouble will still have a place... even if it is only for supporting/background avatars. Bob
