Looks good!  Can moustache, beard, and sideburns be applied/modified separately?

Hi, The addon allows for users to build up combinations of stubble, moustache, beard and sideburns. As I'm always looking for inspiration to add to my products, I will be adding more elements to the addon over time (as free updates). As an aside I spent hours looking at various facial hair photographs. Some of the more interesting ones included Keanu Reeves, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp :).
I suggest you have a look at the manual here to get an overview of the system and how it works.

As i thought, trying this out by giving my latest female some stubbles would be funny,
the first glance when the substance was loaded was quite disturbing.
It was pure coincidence that she is so "white", so the effect is worse...

??
How do we adjust the difference in appearance to the rest of the skin?

Anyway,  after that, i loaded Floyd...

That hurts :D

Anyway Floyd is happy about his beard, besides un unnatural skin and a sleightly damaged head ;)

Did i do something wrong?

I guess some adjustments are necessarely but the impact and difference to "original skin" is quite heavy,
even before you get some stubbles or beards...

I'm not sure why this is happening as I cannot replicate it with Stubble Trouble. That said in the early part of of developing AgeGen I was plagued with that effect and I thought I had eliminated it. I have just tried Stubble Trouble on several models including DaZ conversions. I updated Stubble Trouble late last night. Have you downloaded the latest version. I had sent a message to all purchasers last night about the update.
(The issue of dark skin effect was initially caused (in AgeGen) by a module in the substance that wasn't copying the normal map properly). If the problem exists could you please send me the model.
Bob

This looks really good for a texture set...looks a lot like fibermesh. I am curious though, why no export license?

Hi. The substance itself is really just a texture effect and as such probably doesn't come under the terms for an export license. There was no option in the content up loader or on the market place back end. Personally I'm of the mind that as long as the substance isn't shared the beard/texture can be exported as the textures are part of the model and not clothing or hair or accessories, etc.

Okay, now I feel like an idiot (which happens a lot, so not your problem).  I see no Substance panel in my material list modify panel with the std_head and diffuse selected.  I see GI settings, Tesselation, etc. but no Substance.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Mike
Do you have a screenshot? It should be between Gi Settings and Tessellation.
